Stress on human-ware

For engineers and staff of the Kerala Water Authority(KWA) who had gathered at the Travancore Hall of the Technopark on September 17 for a pre-launch presentation of the KWA’s IT initiatives, the message was clear. Software is only part of the story.

It is the human-ware behind the software that is more important. This theme was emphasized by not one, but two speakers at the inaugural ceremony; the KWA chairman K. Jayakumar and the Minister for Water Resources N. K. Premachandran. “The proof of the pudding is in the eating,” Mr. Jayakumar told the gathering.
