Non-farm loans: Govt. extends last date

NAMAKKAL: The State Government has extended the last date for paying the 25 per cent of the outstanding amount of non-farm loans obtained from the cooperative bank under an interest concession scheme to September 30. The Government has announced interest concession for those who took non-agricultural credit from cooperative banks. Accordingly, the interest rate of the present outstanding loans had been reduced from 18 per cent to 12 per cent. Those who want to avail themselves of the interest rate reduction should pay 25 per cent of the outstanding amount within September 30.
