Protest at Pollachi

Coimbatore: Protesting against giving 79 km of Pollachi and Kinathu- kadavu areas to the Palakkad railway division, all shops and commercial establishments downed their shutters in Pollachi town, 40 km from here, on Tuesday. The protest was called by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagom and trade and commerce associations. — PTI
