ABL’s DHA manufacturing facility

CHENNAI: ABL Biotechnologies has established a facility for the production of the essential fatty acid Docasa Hexaenoic Acid (DHA) at Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu, with an investment of Rs. 40 crore. The facility will begin producing DHA in 2008. According to a release, this is India’s first facility for the production of DHA, which can prevent irregular heartbeats. — Corporate Reporter
