Stabbing incident

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old unemployed youth allegedly stabbed a 20-year-old girl and committed suicide at Pandav Nagar here on Tuesday.

It all happened at 9-30 in the morning when Narender, a resident of Khoda Colony, went to meet Shivani, a resident of Shashi Garden, near Sanjay Jheel. The two had a heated argument over some issue following which he allegedly attacked her with a knife and injured her grievously. He then hanged himself from a tree, the police said.

The police have reportedly found a marriage certificate in Narender’s pocket suggesting that the two were married.
