Sandeep continues to make waves

Chennai: Drag flicker Sandeep Singh continues to make news in German hockey league. With six goals in four encounters, the Indian is the best scorer so far. His Club TG Frankenthal is now placed sixth, three spots behind the top rated Crefelder HTC.

The best team with an Indian import is the Uhlenhorster HC in Hamburg, for whom goalkeeper Bharat Chetri has figured in only one match so far.He has given way currently to the former German under-21 keeper, Johannas Blank. Stuggarter Kickers, now in the fifth place, is enormously pleased with the performances of Deepak Thakur and Viren Resquinha. The best Indian performer so far for the Club is V.S. Vinaya.
