Protest against apathy: Employees under the banner of the Kerala Forest Protective Staff Association taking out a protest march to the Collectorate in Malappuram on Wednesday pressing their various demands. MALAPPURAM: The Kerala Forest Protective Staff Association (KFPSA) staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Wednesday in protest against the apathy of the authorities. The protesters demanded that the Government end the discrimination in the pay revision and implement subordinate service rule. Other de mands included the restoration of the 23-year grade benefits and revision of forest code and training. KFPSA State secretary P.R. Gopalakrishnan inaugurated the dhar na. T.K. Hamza, MP, addres sed the protesters. Mr. Hamza said the forest protective staff did not seek a pay revision. They only demanded an end to the discrimination.
