Water level increases in reservoirs
Thiruvananthapuram: Water levels in major reservoirs in the State have increased. According to figures released by the Central Water Commission for the week ending September 17, the water level at Idukki increased from 2,390.16 ft to 2,392.9 ft, at Idamalayar from 543.86 ft to 546.88 ft and at Kallada from 365.48 ft to 366.24 ft. When compared to the water levels recorded during the same period last year, Kallada, Idukki and Idamalayar reservoirs showed an increase of 1.74 ft, 31.68 and 11.45 ft, respectively. — Special Correspondent
