High Court adjourns hearing on plea

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday adjourned further hearing on an appeal by Girias Investment Corporation challenging a single judge order upholding acquisition of its land for construction of a trumpet junction at Kannamangala. The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board had acquired land at Kannamangala village in Devanahalli taluk for the international airport that is being built by the Bangalore International Airport Limited.

The State wanted to construct a trumpet junction at the site to ensure smooth traffic from and to Bangalore from the airport.
