Seer’s bail plea rejected

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday rejected a bail petition by a seer accused of involvement in a woman’s murder.

Fakkirayya alias Jagadeeshwar Shivayogi Swamiji of Gavi Math had sought bail saying the case against him was fabricated. He had also urged the court to set aside the order of a Sessions Court in Dharwad sentencing him to imprisonment for the murder of Geeta, a devotee.

The Sessions Court had on November 20 last rejected his bail plea.
