All-round display by Varun Anand

NEW DELHI: An all-round performance by Varun Anand (56 and five for 47) helped Ravindra Public School to a thrilling one-wicket win over Delhi Public School (R.K. Puram) in the semifinals of the 18th Radha Kishan Sanjay memorial cricket tournament at the Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden.

The scores (semifinals):

Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram 185 for nine in 30 overs (Manav Sharma 74, Tarang Gupta 38, Varun Anand five for 47) lost to Ravindra Public School 186 for nine in 29.4 overs (Varun Anand 56, Bhaskar Sharma 34, Sunny Yadav 30, Manav Sharma three for 24).

Salwan Public School 104 in 29.4 overs (Aditya Kaushik 32, Sudeep Das 30, Mahir Sharma five for 20, Manan Sharma three for 16) lost to Modern School, Barakhamba Road 106 for one in 15.5 overs (Sahil Kher 50, Arjun Gupta 36 not out).
