A long journey

KARAIKAL: Shivaprakash Doss (48) of Orissa, who started an all-India cycle expedition from Ganjam in Orissa seven years ago, reached Karaikal in Puducherry on Wednesday.

Mr. Doss said he undertook the expedition to create awareness on religious harmony, national integration, world peace and India’s rich cultural heritage.

He has so far covered 27 States and Union Territories and hopes to cover the rest of the country in a few months. He was felicitated by members of the Lions Club of Karaikal and the Chamber of Commerce.
