SBT staff union strike

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Employees of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) will strike work on September 27 in protest against the Union government’s policies in the banking sector, the SBT Staff Union said in a statement here on Wednesday.

The union said the government’s moves would ultimately put the country’s economy at the mercy of multinational companies.
