BELLARY: As many as 15 nomination papers filed by candidates to contest local urban body elections in Bellary district were rejected during scrutiny on Tuesday and Wednesday. Nomination papers filed by 1,228 candidates were found correct and accepted, according to a communication from the District Election Office. In Bellary city eight nomination papers were rejected. Four nomination papers were rejected in Hospet and one each were rejected in Sirguppa, Hadagali and Tekkalakote.
