Chennai: Residents of Ice House, Kodambakkam and Adyar zones can telephone representatives of Neel Metal Fanalca, the private firm in charge of garbage clearance in these areas, to make complaints in case of deficiency in service.
On Wednesday, Mayor M. Subramanian and Corporation Commissioner Rajesh Lakhoni inspected the clearing of garbage and placing of new bins along roads in Tiruvanmiyur.
A Chennai Corporation press release here said 1,529 tonnes of garbage were cleared from the three zones on Tuesday.
