GGH Millennium block by 2008

GUNTUR: The Millennium Block of Government General Hospital in Guntur has been proposed for construction at a cost of Rs.10 crores and was likely to ground by February 2008.

Another Rs.10 crores has been sanctioned by the Central Government for modernization of the hospital, Superintendent Kasturi Krishna Rao said on Wednesday during a review meeting by Collector Mohammed Ali Rafat. The Collector asked the doctors and para-medical staff to work with dedication towards alleviating the suffering of the poor coming to hospital as they could not to go anywhere with corporate hospitals becoming costly.
