Congress plans novel protest

BERHAMPUR: Members of the Ganjam district Congress have decided to beg at Gopalpur beach and on the road connecting Gopalpur and Berhampur from September 23 to collect funds for proper maintenance of lights installed by the side of the Berhampur-Gopalpur road as a mark of protest.

They allege that the Berhampur Development Authority and the local municipality have failed to maintain these lights and are not paying the electricity bills in time.
