Chandy leaves for the U.S.

Thiruvananthapuram: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy on Thursday left for the U.S. to participate in several programmes organised by Keralites living there. In a statement here, the Opposition leader’s office said that Mr. Chandy would visit Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Florida, Washington, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey. He would go to Davos for treatment of his leg and return home on October 6. – Special Correspondent
