Job for dependents of Panniar victims

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) will offer jobs to the dependents of its employees killed in the penstock pipe burst tragedy at its Panniar hydro-electric project in Idukki district. The decision was taken at a meeting of the board members of the KSEB here on Thursday. The meeting expressed the KSEB’s grief over the tragedy and noted that the timely and courageous initiatives of the men who died in the incident had helped prevent bigger damage to the installations at Panniar. — Special Correspondent
