JAIPUR: Computer software to stealthily monitor the activities of computer users at Internet cafes and offices has been introduced by a Jaipur-based software company. Claimed to be an Indian version of software net nanny which checks Internet abuse abroad, NetPapa secretly records all activities of the user even if they are erased or wiped out from the system. “NetPapa is configured to run in stealth mode where warning messages do not appear unless NetPapa files have been manually altered. This amazing tool will enable one to see what people have been doing online and offline,” says Tushar Dashora, MD of Dash Mediaventures. “The philosophy behind the development of NetPapa is to promote responsible Internet usage by monitoring all internal activity,” he adds. According to Dr. Dashora, NetPapa, developed by Kukars InfoTech, an associate of Dash Mediaventures, is a 32-bit application built for Windows 9x, NT, 2000 and Windows XP.
