Longing for sunny days

Has the city suddenly turned into a Cheerapunji ? Overcast sky, rain alternating between drizzle and downpour, for days together, is something the citizens have not experienced in the last few years.

At a time when the monsoon should have tapered off by now, it only seems to be going strong. The weather, rain to be more precise, has become the latest conversation opener, replacing the ever choking traffic for once though no chat ends without exchanging notes about intensity of traffic jams in different routes.

Guess what is on the wish list of Hyderabadis these days.

A bright sunny day of course!
