DU students take stock of the situation

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: A day after staging a protest demonstration against alleged incidents of molestation and “police inaction” in dealing with them, several students of Delhi University met at the Arts Faculty on the North Campus on Thursday to take stock of the situation.

“There were representatives from almost all colleges of the North Campus. We apprised them of the assurances given to us by the Vice-Chancellor and the Joint Commissioner of Police (Northern Range). We are waiting for their response as they had sought time till Friday. Only after that we will decide our future course of action,” said a student of Indraprastha College for Women.
