Traffic curbs on GST Road go

TAMBARAM: Restrictions imposed on certain categories vehicles on Grand Southern Trunk Road were lifted by the traffic police on Thursday, a day after their introduction.

On Wednesday, the movement of light commercial vehicles and heavy vehicles, including long-distance government and private buses on the GST Road was stopped.

Following complaints from several sections, the restrictions were lifted on Thursday morning, the police said.
