IAS officers meet Chief Secretary

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Representatives of the IAS Officers Association on Thursday met Chief Secretary J. Harinarayan in wake of the report leaked to the media by former Vigilance Commissioner R.C. Samal alleging corrupt activities by officers of all India services. Sources said the association members wanted to put forward their views on the controversial report.

The association has welcomed the inquiry ordered into the allegations of wrong-doing and asserted that the association was ‘unflinching’ in its commitment to maintenance of highest standard of probity in public life including civil services. It decried the manner in which the issue was being projected in media.
