Chowrasia and Ghei tied 10th

Taipei: Defending champion Gaurav Ghei shot an even par 72, four shots off the lead, to be placed tied 10th even as local amateur Chen Ming-Tsuan emerged the surprise leader in the opening round of the Mercuries Taiwan Masters here on Thursday.

S. S. P. Chowrasia (72) was also tied 10th, while Digvijay Singh (77) was 81st and Rahil Gangjee (92) was 92nd. — PTI
