Music concert to be held tomorrow

BHUBANESWAR: Continuing with its monthly ‘Sangeetayana’ concert series, the city-based Bhubaneswar Music Circle (BMC) in association with the Department of Culture will host Hindustani and Odissi music at the mini auditorium of the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya here on Sunday.

BMC general secretary Mr. Khirod Patnaik told The Hindu that the Government launched the concert series for the capital city a couple of years ago in a bid to provide the city folks in general and

tourists in particular glimpses of Orissa’s arts, culture and tradition.

Accordingly, on the second Sunday of each month, a concert of dance or music is being hosted in the city by the BMC.
