BERHAMPUR: Talks between the management and agitating employees of the power distribution company, Southco, on Friday failed. The agitating employees have been holding a dharna in front of Southco head office in the city since Tuesday. They are demanding permanent appointment to casual employees. Leaders of the ‘Bijuli Karmachari Sangh’, Panchanan Jena and Chandrasekhar Achari alleged that the talks failed as the Southco authorities did not agree to the employees’ demand.
