CPI(M) charge on A.P. housing scheme

VIJAYAWADA: Asserting that the Indiramma housing scheme was full of glaring loopholes, CPI (M) State secretary B.V. Raghavulu on Friday said his party was ready to prove its charge in any village of the Government’s choice if Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy deputed his Ministers for the verification.

He said a large number of poor people were participating in the Left parties’ agitation for land distribution as they were convinced that the Government was not going to give them houses without a house site. The CPI (M) would suspend its agitation if the Government included all the landless poor in the list of beneficiares.
