KURNOOL: Silver Jubilee College in collaboration with KVR College and Government Degree College for Men will host an international seminar on ‘Mahabharata’ in January, according to college Principal Subba Rao.
He said the college would organise a meeting of Old Students’ Association on Saturday. Finance Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao, Director of State Treasuries N.C. Nagarjuna Reddy and others would attend the meet. Mr. Rao said the college management proposed to open the college for girls making it a co-educational institution.
Until now, only boys were admitted to the college.
The Principal said with the help of Old Students’ Association, the infrastructure on the campus would also be developed.
He said there was urgent need for regular teachers to teach computer science, electronics and travel and tourism.
