Thousands witness procession

TIRUMALA: Tens of thousands of devotees witnessed the celestial ‘Surya prabha’ vahanam observed on Friday, the seventh day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala.

The deity of Lord Malayappa mounted atop the Surya Prabha vahanam was taken around in a procession along the mada streets encircling the shrine.

In the afternoon Asthanam was organised to the processional deities at the Ranganayakula mandapam inside the temple.
