Swamy felicitated

Mumbai: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy was felicitated here on Friday by Sringeri Sankaracharya at the Sringeri Mutt Ashram in suburban Chembur here for his efforts to stop the demolition of Ramar Sethu by getting a stay order in the Supreme Court.

Later, Dr. Swamy said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was fighting a “losing battle” on the issue. — PTI
