133 hotels approved

CHENNAI: The Union Tourism Ministry has approved 133 hotels, which will come up in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry.

Talking to reporters after being unanimously elected for one more term as president of the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA), M.P. Purushothaman said of the 133 hotels, Karnataka would have 30, Kerala 61, Andhra Pradesh 20, Tamil Nadu 18 and Puducherry 4. — Special Correspondent
