huge catch: East Godavari SP B. Srinivasulu looking at the loot that was sezied on Saturday. Rajahmundry: Police recovered about 10 tulas of gold, silver and 17 bikes from two separate gangs and arrested five persons in this connection. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, East Godavari SP B. Srinivasulu said that in the first case Rajahmundry rural CI Ankaiah and his team arrested Gummalla Satyanarayana of Vundeswarapuram at Seethanagaram mandal. The accused confessed that he had stolen gold, Rs.10,000 cash, two Nokia cell phones, a wrist watches worth of Rs.2.31 lakh and Rs.5,000 silver in Bommuru, Rajahanagaram and Rajahmundry rural limits in 14 different cases. Second incidentIn another incident, police arrested Kovvuri Siva Krishna Reddy, B. Swami, K. Sruthikumar and K. Venkanna and recovered 17 motorbikes, which they stole from different areas. Of the total, as many as 15 motorbikes were stolen from Rajahmundry town, one from Dowleswaram and one more from Tanuku.
