SIVAGANGA: A group of six persons on Saturday attacked the house of the Bharatiya Janata Party leader H. Raja. The violent incident occurred when he was sleeping at his house at Subramaniapuram in Karaikudi. The miscreants pelted stones at the windowpanes and on vehicles parked in the house.
Flowerpots, which were kept in the garden of the house, were used by them to carry out the attack. Two vehicles were smashed. Mr. Raja told ‘The Hindu’ he and his family members did not receive any injury.
