CHENNAI: B. Indrajith’s all round performance formed the highlight on the second day of the City versus Combined Districts under-15 cricket match at the ICL-Guru Nanak college ground on Saturday. Indrajith first hit 76 to help City raise its total from overnight 209 for six to 314 for eight when the innings was declared. Bowling his leg spinners, Indrajith picked three wickets to put the breaks in Districts’ innings. At stumps, Districts had made 113 for seven, thanks to useful contributions from S. Chandrasekhar (34) and Nirmal Kumar (45). The scores: City 314 for eight decl. in 126.1 overs (V. Ganga Sridhar 38, R. Ananth 81, B. Aparajith 46, B. Indrajith 76, Aushik Srinivasan three for 47) v Combined Districts 113 for seven in 72 overs (S. Chandrasekhar 34, Nirmal Kumar 45, B. Indrajith three for 40).
