Nagapattinam: Nearly 630 officers and employees in the Collector’s office and other Government departments here were benefited at the special free health camp conducted here on Friday as part of the Government’s ‘Varumun Kappom’ scheme. Dr. Maharaja, Joint Director of Medical Services and others attended the camp. As many as 21 specialist doctors of various disciplines conducted the camp. Free ECG, scan, blood and urine sugar were taken on the spot with the help of 59 para medical staff. The Collector, Tenkasi S. Jawahar, said that this type of special camps would be conducted once in three months in several parts of the district.
