“Ban VHP, RSS”

PUDUCHERRY: General secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) V. Narayanasamy on Sunday sought a ban on Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for “fomenting communal tension in the country.”

Condemning the reported remarks of VHP leader Ram Vilas Vedanti against Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi, he said issuing fatwa amounted to an act of terrorism.
