20 new buses for KSRTC

Thrissur: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will add 20 air-conditioned buses to its fleet in the first week of October, Transport Minister Mathew T. Thomas has said. He was addressing the State conference of KSRTC Employees’ Association (CITU) here on Sunday. Industries Minister Elamaram Karim said non-profitable operations could not be stopped as it was still unclear whether KSRTC was an enterprise or an essential service. “The norms are different for essential services,” he said. – Staff Reporter
