Foundation stone laid

ARIYALUR: The Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Anbumani Ramadoss, laid the foundation stone for providing basic amenities at Andimadam bus stand and declared open buildings in educational institutions in and around Andimadam on Saturday.

The total outlay of Rs.74 lakh for these works was sanctioned by the Minister from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) fund.

Speaking at a function at Andimadam, Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss said that the Pattali Makkal Katchi attached more importance for construction of buildings for educational institutions under the MPLAD and MLALAD schemes. So far, a sum of Rs.27 crore had been allotted under these schemes by the MPs and MLAs of the party.
