Bhavan’s triumphs

KOCHI: Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir (Elamakkara) defeated Toc-H Public School (Vytilla) 2-0 to win the CBSE all-Kerala football title (Cluster VI) at Thengode on Sunday.

Mahesh Chithraprakash and Ishan Sultan Ashraf scored the goals and gave Bhavan’s its maiden title in the event.

Defending champion Ansar PS (Perumpilavu, Thrissur finished third. But Ansar won both the individual awards through Irfan Mohammed Kutty (best goalkeeper) and P.M. Muneer (best player).
