Lakshmana, Kumar joint winners

VIJAYAWADA: Eluru’s D. Lakshmana Rao and Karimnagar’s A. Kumar emerged joint winners, garnering seven points out of eight rounds, in the A.P. State Open chess tournament, which concluded at the Public Club at Kodad (Nalgonda) on Sunday. Chief Guest MLA Uttam Kumar Reddy gave away the prizes. Tournaments sponsor G. Saidaiah of Saidaiah Concept School was the guest of honour.
