International Day of Peace celebrated

NEW DELHI: Delhi Public School at R.K. Puram celebrated “International Day of Peace” on September 21. Rajya Sabha member Dr. Karan Singh was the chief guest on this occasion. The programme commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest who was welcomed by Principal Shayama Chona. The students displayed their talent and creativity in the form of a medley of songs performed by the school choir in which they effectively demonstrated the harmony between western and Indian music.
