NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Agarwal visited the Block Congress Committees of Shakarpur and Preet Vihar in the trans-Yamuna areas over the weekend to have personal interaction with block-level Congress workers.
East Delhi MP Sandeep Dikshit, Mandawali MLA Meera Bhardwaj and Viswasnagar MLA Naseeb Singh besides a large number of Congress workers were also present.
Mr. Agarwal exhorted the party workers to go around in their areas and propagate the party’s policies and programmes. He said while the workers were the main assets and strengths of the party, it cannot succeed unless the cadres won over the confidence of the common people.
