Fatal fall for plumber

A 23-year-old plumber, Debashis Das, working on a makeshift arrangement on a third floor building of a school at Dwarakanagar fell and died on Saturday. He sat on a wooden plank and was at work when the rope held by his brothers from another floor above snapped. He fell from a height of 28 ft and sustained injuries.

He was shifted to a private hospital where he died in the afternoon, according to the police.
