NEW DELHI: An 18-year-old girl was criminally assaulted allegedly by the owner of a domestic help placement agency on September 17. The police have arrested the accused.
The Prashant Vihar police received a complaint from the girl, a resident of Chhattisgarh, alleging that Krishna Rao, who ran Krishna Bureau Service, criminally assaulted her. Through the accused, the victim had earlier got a job in Faridabad. She then got a new job in a Shahdara house through another agency. On September 17, she alleged, Krishna took her to his house on some pretext and assaulted her.
On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Krishna.
