Bomb scare at hospital

Kochi: An anonymous call to the Ernakulam General Hospital that a bomb had been placed in an ambulance scheduled to reach the hospital’s casualty wing turned out to be a hoax. The call was made around noon. The hospital authorities informed the police, following which the bomb-detection squad and the dog squad reached the place. Searches conducted in two ambulances yielded nothing.
