PATNA: At least two persons, including a policeman, were killed during a bandh sponsored by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) in Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh on Sunday protesting against the arrest of its activists. More than a dozen trucks and buses were burnt on the Grand Trunk road, and railway tracks and cabins blown up. Train services hitThe Railways were targeted both in Bihar and Jharkhand throwing into disarray the train services in various sections, including the Grand Cord under the Dhanbad division of the East Central Railway. In Bihar, naxalites torched trucks at two places on the GT road in Gaya district. Five trucks were set afire in Amas police station area. A driver was killed when he tried to flee with his vehicle. A police patrol party was ambushed in which one SAP jawan was killed. A portion of the rail track was blasted near the Pahleja station in Bihar.
