DMK workers attacked in Mumbai
Mumbai: Four DMK workers were attacked by unidentifed persons and stones pelted at the party’s office here on Sunday evening, police said.
“The workers were assaulted with lathis while they were sitting near a school in Dharavi,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone V) D.M. Thadtare told PTI.
As of now there was no evidence to link the incidents to the DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s controversial remarks about Lord Ram recently, the official said.
