City beats Districts

CHENNAI: City beat Combined Districts by virtue of first innings lead in the three-day TNCA under-15 cricket tournament, which concluded here on Sunday. City’s R. Vishnu’s unbeaten 101 (160b, 16x4) was the highlight on the final day.

The scores: City 314 for eight decl. & 227 for six in 75 overs (R. Vishnu 101 not out, Abishek Mehra 44, K. Bharath Shankar 37) drew with Combined Districts 147 in 103.2 overs (K. Karthik 30).
