A.P. Congress strikes it rich

HYDERABAD: Reflecting the perception that Andhra Pradesh is important in its scheme of things, the Congress high command has picked up leaders from the State for some key positions in the All India Congress Committee and the Congress Working Committee (CWC).

Senior MP from Parvathipuram (ST), Kishore Chandra Deo has been appointed AICC general secretary, while young MP Madhu Yashki Goud has been made the AICC secretary. But, what came as a surprise was the elevation of Vundavalli Arun Kumar, MP, as a permanent invitee to the CWC.
